    Wait,so this demon……was the one that got Uldred?And,what about the mouse in the Fade part of “Broken Circle”?Was that the real apprentice?

    That’s exactly what I thought. It was the fact that the Pride Demon was giving you advice and letting you live rather than becoming a generic first boss that would be easily killed because it’s at the begining of the game that makes it scary. Kinda like the end of DoW.
    But yeah, I think the Harrowing is actually the best part of the game so far (and I’m about 22 hours in).
